More than a dozen students from the university Duoc UC in Chile recently spent two weeks at Cal State East Bay learning about local sustainability efforts as well as the fundamentals of sustainable construction. The program, which is in its sixth year, is taught by Cristian Gaedicke, associate professor of engineering and a native of Chile.
