Cal State East Bay is one of America’s best value colleges.

According to a recent listing from Forbes Magazine, the university is No. 108 of 300 universities and colleges analyzed nationwide for their value. The listings, which are curated annually are scored using the following six areas: quality; net price; net debt; alumni earnings; timely graduation; and access for low-income students. Also taken into consideration — fees, room and board, grants and scholarships.

The university has improved its ranking year-over-year since the list was first published three years ago. In 2017, Cal State East Bay ranked No. 240, and in 2018, it was No. 121.

Cal State East Bay was included alongside other California State University campuses including CSU Long Beach (No. 53) and CSU Los Angeles (No. 139).
