Cal State East Bay president featured on Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation podcast

Three university presidents including Cal State East Bay’s own President Leroy M. Morishita recently spoke about the meaning of public engagement in higher education. They were featured on “To A Degree,” the postsecondary success podcast from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation moderated by Casey Green. The podcast was recorded during the 2018 American Association of State Colleges and Universities annual meeting.

Morishita, Cynthia Teniente-Matson (Texas A&M University-San Antonio) and Marion Terenzio (State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill) discussed how each of their institutions engages with the local community.

The podcast is available on the Gates Foundation website.
